This year too, Scavolini has participated in both Eurocucina and the International Bathroom Furniture exhibitions. An additional Scavolini space was also dominating the scene at the Diesel Living stand, which hosted, as usual, the best of Italian Design firms.
Among the great number of novelties presented at our stands, each one standing out for innovative design and commercial appeal, the undisputed “talk of the town” were:
The Qi collection designed by Nendo, proposed both for the Kitchen and for the Bathroom ranges. Thanks to its symmetric sequence of bowl-shaped containers laying upon ethereal light elm shelves, together with the Zen atmospheres inspired by the delicate nuances of the matt finishes shown, the QI kitchen and bathroom compositions offered the visitors a unique experience of relax and oriental beauty right in the middle of the most crowded spaces!
The new Diesel Open Workshop kitchen and bathroom, by Diesel Creative Team Design. After the great success of Diesel Social Kitchen, another exciting surprise for Scavolini’s fashion-addict fans! The predominance of iron tube modular structures, the use of mesh glass shelves and fluted glass doors, together with the aesthetical choice of leaving the hardware as visible as possible, lend this model a rough yet romantic “garage” look, not being averse to warm and intimate atmospheres. The big, round mirrors in the discrete dim light of the bathroom areas evoked the arcane fascination of a moon eclipse.
Carattere, by Vuesse Design Studio, is the result of Scavolini’s constant search for new stylistic solutions, not necessarily always “breaking the rules”, but skillfully reinterpreting them so as to put even the most traditional traits under a new light. In this refined proposal, a traditional detail, such as the framed door, is made highly contemporary by the clean-cut lines of the cabinets and by the vertical development of the slender 127 cm tall wall units. The big, majestic islands and the led-lit full-height cabinets projected the visitors in the urban environment of a finely decorated metropolitan flat.
